Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO terminal) offering regional OT R routes with weekly and annual pay/packages. Drivers transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbeds. Training is available for CDL-A graduates. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and transition/orientation pay, PTO, and more. Applicants must possess a valid CDL-A license, meet standard hiring requirements, have a safe driving record, and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks; must lift 90 pounds for tarp handling during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp handling) during orientation
