Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver role with System Transport in the western region. Positions are for recent CDL-A graduates or drivers with limited experience, offering regional and OTR routes, flatbed equipment, and a comprehensive benefits package. Key details include Home Time with 34-hour resets, weekly and annual pay scales (up to $1,980.65 weekly or $102,993.80 yearly depending on experience and route), transition/orientation pay, and accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border-crossing, safety bonuses, and more). Training provided for recent graduates, mandatory safety and background checks, tarping requirements (lift 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform), and a strong emphasis on safety and equal opportunity employment. Location options include Kansas City, MO and New Lenox, IL with in-person work expectations for regional/OTR driving.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
