Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and other specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A grads through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with weekly pay, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, life insurance, PTO after waiting period, and more. Home time typically off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Must possess a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements including a safe driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse clearance. Physical requirement to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads) and lift 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
- Ability to work on flatbed loads with tarps
- Willingness to undergo orientation and transitional pay programs
