Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity with System Transport in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO). Roles include regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay with various accessorial pay, a transition/orientation pay package, and comprehensive benefits after waiting period. Requires CDL-A, 21+, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse compliance, and the ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform (tarps ~70% of loads). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarps about 70% of our loads
