Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional and OT routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time position with transition/orientation pay, comprehensive health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and other benefits. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Salary packages include weekly pay and annual pay ranges; drivers tarps and secures loads, with tarp pay and other accessorial pay as applicable. Must meet standard hiring requirements and be physically able to lift 90 pounds for tarp application. Location noted: Fort Dodge, IA with division specifics and Kansas City, MO terminal context. System Transport emphasizes safety, equipment readiness, and driver support systems.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads—training available)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
