Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunity with System Transport for regional/OTR routes. Recent CDL-A graduates eligible with training offered. Drivers hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Weekly and annual pay potential, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and PTO after eligibility waiting period. Must be 21+, have a valid Class A CDL, and meet standard hiring requirements; requires ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform and pass background and drug checks. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple pay components include per-mile rate, mileage pay, and various accessorial pays. Location hint: Lima, OH. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard driving responsibilities and safety-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads may have no experience and be trained)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- Ability to pass orientation pay requirements
- Possess a valid CDL-A license and meet standard hiring requirements
