Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver role on regional and OTR routes with System Transport. Responsible for transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbeds. Requires valid Class A CDL, age 21+, 4+ months driving experience (training provided for recent CDL-A grads), and a clean driving record with background check and drug test. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay up to six figures, transition/orientation pay, tarp pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; based in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO terminal) with regional exposure. Training offered for recent graduates through May 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads: no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
- Ability to drive flatbed routes
- Flatbed tarping duties and pay structures
