Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional and OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbeds. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay packages, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and transition/orientation pay. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; programs include benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP, PTO accrual). Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements; tarping requirements include lifting 90 pounds onto a platform during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads: training available)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping about 70% of loads)
