Job Summary
System Transport is hiring Recent CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes. Drivers transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training is offered for recent CDL-A graduates. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements; candidates with 4+ months of driving experience or graduates with no experience will be trained. Role includes tarping loads (approximately 70% of loads) and lifting up to 90 pounds, with home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Compensation includes weekly pay and an annual pay range of roughly $56,949.36 to $102,993.80, with additional accessorial pay and transition/orientation pay. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
