Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional and OT routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in a safety‐driven operation; training offered for recent CDL-A graduates. Responsibilities include securement and tarp handling (lift 90 pounds onto a 5‐foot platform twice), maintaining safe driving practices, and complying with driver‐related requirements. Full benefits after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more), transition/orientation pay, and consistent home time (Off most weekends for a 34‐hour reset). Must possess a valid Class A CDL and meet standard hiring requirements. High emphasis on safety and equipment maintenance. Division 290, Kansas City terminal, with regional/Ot r routes and substantial pay potential depending on experience and attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
