Job Summary
Recent CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver opportunity with System Transport. Regional and OTR driving for flatbed loads (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, specialty metals). Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, extensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP), transition/orientation pay, PTO accrual, and various per-load pay components (tarp, stop, detention, and more). Home time varies by division; division 290 based in Kansas City, MO. Must meet standard hiring requirements and be able to lift a 90-pound tarp. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
