Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional and OTR routes with System Transport. Recent CDL-A grads eligible with training through May 31, 2026. Drive flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay and extensive benefits, including transition/orientation pay and PTO eligibility. Positions require lifting a 90-pound tarp during tarping, safe driving record, background/drug/clearinghouse checks, and willingness to train new CDL graduates. Home time off most weekends with 34-hour resets; equipment/fleet details provided; comprehensive pay structure available (weekly and annual figures listed).
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation
