Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional and OT R routes hauling goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Includes a structured training option for CDL-A graduates, orientation pay, transition pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP), PTO accrual, and strong home-time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and ability to tarp loads (90-lb tarps) as part of daily duties. Driver rate details include weekly and annual pay ranges, plus per-mile compensation and various accessorial pays. Divisions and terminals noted (Division 290, Kansas City, MO). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
