Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional and OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time drivers earn annual pay ranging from $56,949.36 to $102,993.80, with weekly and accessorial pay opportunities (e.g., tarp, detention, safety bonuses). Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO; transition/orientation pay available. Must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, pass background and drug tests, have a safe driving record, and be physically able to tarp loads. Flatbed division 290, Terminal: Kansas City, MO. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps about 70% of loads)
- System Transport will test this during orientation
