Job Summary
Drive flatbed truck on regional/OTR routes, transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A graduates are eligible and training is offered during a limited-time period. Compensation includes weekly pay and an annual pay range, with additional accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and a transition/orientation pay package. Home time typically includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO/vacation, and more. Equipment is flatbed; driver responsibilities include tarp loading and safe handling as part of load securement, with a requirement to meet all standard hiring requirements and pass safety-related checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads—no experience required, if training)
- Safe driving record
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp handling during orientation)
