Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver role with System Transport in the western region for regional and OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent grads through May 31, 2026. Driver duties include operating flatbed equipment, tarp handling (up to 90 pounds), and adhering to safety standards. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay projections, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, EAP). Home time varies by division with off-most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Fleet-specific details: Division 290, Kansas City, MO terminal; pay scales depend on experience and route, with both mileage and accessorial pay. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
