Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport for regional and OTR routes. Drive flatbed equipment and transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pays (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp pay), and a robust benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, EAP, PTO). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Required: valid Class A CDL, age 21+, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse check, ability to lift 90 pounds twice onto a five-foot high platform; 4+ months driving experience (recent grads welcome for training). Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
