Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Regional/OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for CDL-A graduates. Competitive pay with weekly and annual earnings, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Must obtain a valid CDL-A and meet standard hiring requirements; strong safety and compliance record required. Flatbed experience or ability to tarp loads and lift tarps up to 90 pounds is needed; orientation and benefits detailed in the package.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Desired Qualifications
- CDL-A license
