Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional and OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for Recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and meet standard hiring requirements. Eligible drivers receive a comprehensive pay package with weekly and annual earnings, transition/orientation pay, and a robust benefits lineup. Home time typically off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. System Transport emphasizes safety and provides modern equipment with support through a driver portal and 24/7 road service. Tarp-handling requirements are specified for flatbed operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads: training provided)
- Safe driving record
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clear Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps on ~70% of loads)
