Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver role for regional and OTR routes. Transport materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through 05/31/2026. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse compliance. Compensation includes weekly pay and annual pay, with a transition/orientation pay package and comprehensive benefits; home time varies by division with most weekends off for a 34-hour reset. The job emphasizes safety, equipment readiness, and pay-structure details; a strong safety culture and support from a driver-focused company.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
