Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Drive regional and over-the-road routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and transition/orientation pay. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, have a safe driving record, and pass a background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse check. Ability to tarp heavy loads (approximately 90 pounds) during orientation with tarps on about 70% of loads. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform
- System Transport will test tarp ability during orientation
- Flatbed tarp experience for ~70% of loads
