Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity with System Transport. Regional and OTR routes in the western region transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay options, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and tarp-related pay). Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, PTO, and more. Transition/orientation pay included. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, clean driving record, background check, and drug test. Includes safety-focused equipment and support, driver portal, and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
