Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for regional/OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A graduates welcome with training through May 31, 2026. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Flatbed-specific pay elements include tarp pay and various accessorial pays; transition/orientation pay available. Must be able to lift 90 pounds to tarp loads; tarping required on roughly 70% of loads.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (recent CDL-A grads: no experience required; training provided)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads); orientation assessment included
