Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver for System Transport, serving regional and OTR routes in the western region, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A graduates are eligible for training during a limited offer through 5/31/2026. Full-time drivers earn a competitive pay package with weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, comprehensive benefits, and home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Role requires tarping loads (up to 90 lbs) at orientation, safe driving, and adherence to compliance checks. Route type: regional; equipment type: flatbed; division: 290; terminal: Kansas City, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Must meet standard hiring requirements
