Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver needed for regional and over-the-road routes. Transport building materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, coils, machinery, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A grads eligible for training through May 31, 2026. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border crossing, tarp handling on loads). Includes transition and orientation pay, comprehensive benefits after waiting period, and 24/7 driver support. Requires ability to tarp loads (90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform) and passing background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
