Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunities with System Transport. Hiring Recent CDL-A graduates for regional and OTR routes; training provided. Driving flatbed loads including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay options, extensive benefits, transition/orientation pay, generous PTO after tenure, and a strong focus on safety. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; tarp loading training and physical requirements for tarping loads.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
