Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver position with System Transport. Regional and OTR routes requiring hauling of building materials and heavy goods (glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals) with flatbed equipment. Training offered for recent CDL-A grads through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay: weekly and annual ranges, plus accessorial pay and transition/orientation pay. Home time on weekends with a 34-hour reset; comprehensive benefits after eligibility period; required safety and drug/background checks; tarp-handling requirement; EOE. Division 290, Terminal: Kansas City, MO; operating across the western region; multiple pay components include mileage and accessorial pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps ~70% of loads)
- CSA/DRIVING record compliance
- Possess a valid CDL-A license
