Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed truck driver opportunity in the western region with System Transport. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional and OTR routes. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Driving duties include tarp handling (up to 90 pounds) and load securement on flatbed equipment; competitive pay packages including weekly pay, annual pay ranges, and various accessorial pays (tarppay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, orientation pay, transitioning pay). Comprehensive benefits package after eligibility period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, EAP, PTO accrual). Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, safe driving record, and background/drug/Clearinghouse checks. Full-time position with home time off most weekends and Kansas City, MO terminal.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- A Clean Drug Test required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp handling)
