Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity with System Transport covering western region. Hiring for regional and OTR routes, transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training provided for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Competitive pay with transition/orientation pay, a robust benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO after tenure), and various per-load incentives. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; multiple pay structures (weekly, annual) and tarp-related duties are highlighted. Must hold a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21, and meet standard hiring requirements; safety and compliance requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
- Physical ability to perform job duties
