Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity with System Transport in the western region; regional and OTR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full-time positions with weekly and annual pay, robust benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO), transition and orientation pay, and various accessorial pays. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months of driving experience (or Recent CDL-A grads with training), a safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse clearance, and ability to lift a 90-pound tarp. Home time off most weekends; remote not offered. Locations listed: Libertyville, IL and Kansas City, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
