Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional and OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Must possess a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, pass background, drug test, and Clearinghouse checks. Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice required; tarps about 70% of loads. Competitive weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Multiple route options and supportive driver culture.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
