Job Summary
Drive for System Transport as a CDL-A flatbed truck driver across regional and OTR routes in the western US. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Recent CDL-A graduates may qualify for training during a limited-time offer. Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Requires lifting tarps up to 90 pounds; tarp/pay considerations and various pay components (mileage pay and accessorial pay) apply. No experience is required for graduates; CDL-A license and standard hiring requirements must be met. Excellent safety and support systems, including 24/7 driver portal and maintained equipment, with dedicated routes and division 290 where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (training during orientation)
