Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional/OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates during a limited-time period. Must possess a valid CDL-A license, be 21+, have a safe driving record, pass a background check and drug test, and have a clean Clearinghouse result. Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform during orientation. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment includes flatbed with per-mile pay and accessorial pay options; benefits available after waiting period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO). Position details include regional routes, division 290, Kansas City, MO terminal, and potential transition/orientation pay.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads: training provided)
- Safe driving record
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform during orientation
