Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional/OTR routes. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training offered for recent CDL-A graduates during a limited-time program. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay and a transition/orientation package. Required to pass background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse; must be 21+ with a safe driving record and meet standard hiring requirements. Flatbed-specific duties include tarp handling (lifting ~90 pounds). Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; division 290; Kansas City, MO terminal. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Drug Test
- Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
