Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver role on regional/OTR flatbed routes with System Transport. Drivers transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Recent CDL-A grads may be trained; requires valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, safe driving record, and passing background/drug tests. Competitive weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Home time: off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (Recent CDL-A grads may have no experience and will be trained)
- Safe driving record
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping)
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Willing to undergo orientation and training
- Ability to meet standard hiring requirements (as listed)
