Job Summary
Recent CDL-A flatbed driver opportunity with System Transport in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO terminal). Roles include regional and OTR flatbed routes transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for recent CDL-A graduates through May 31, 2026. Full pay package with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, over-dimensional pay). Home time mostly weekends with 34-hour reset. Benefits after eligibility wait: health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual. Orientation and transition pay. Must be able to lift a 90-pound tarp, pass a background check and drug test, and meet clearinghouse requirements. Application deadline 5/31/2026. 21+ and valid CDL-A required; 4+ months experience preferred but training available for recent grads.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- Safe driving record
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- No specified experience for recent grads other than CDL-A
- Pass a driving history and safety requirements
- Meeting standard hiring requirements (see below)
