Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver opportunity with System Transport in Division 290 (Kansas City, MO). Drive regional or OTR routes hauling items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Training available for Recent CDL-A graduates during the promotional period. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment, tarp handling (up to 90 pounds), load securement, and adherence to safety standards. Home time varies by division; weekends off for a 34-hour reset; riders not allowed for pets, but riders aged 7+ after 90 days may be allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you)
- A safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (orientation test)
