Job Summary
Receiving Technician at PURIS’s Dawson, MN facility responsible for receiving all incoming raw material trucks, documenting and escalating non-conformances, completing required documentation, performing sanitation tasks in receiving areas, conducting physical inventory cycle counts, and supporting a safety-first culture. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in manufacturing/warehouse/food production; forklift certification or ability to obtain; experience with inbound documentation (COAs/BOLs); strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills; ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods. Includes weekend availability, biweekly pay, and benefits; opportunity to contribute to GMP/HACCP practices and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in either manufacturing, warehouse, or food production environment
- Understanding of inventory control, lot tracking, and traceability
- Experience in food safety or regulated environments (GMP, HACCP preferred)
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Experience with inbound documentation, COAs, BOLs
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies (not just follow instructions)
- Able to lift 50 pounds; physically capable of prolonged standing and walking
