Job Summary
Conduct deliveries, break down and sort pallets, and stock shelves while rotating inventory and maintaining organization. Pick bulk orders, ensure tags and location stickers are accurate, and load/unload trucks safely. Operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment per supervisor direction. Perform all tasks safely, competently, and in a timely manner within a fast-paced distribution environment. Work day shifts on concrete floors, lifting up to 70 lbs intermittently, and tolerate temperatures from -20 to 115 degrees. Maintain performance while meeting distribution quotas and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Understanding of and ability to follow warehouse practices and procedures
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
- Physically able to access all areas of the warehouse
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to report to work on time and ready to work
- Must be available for overtime when requested
- Lifting and transporting a minimum of 30 lbs. consistently and up to 70 lbs. intermittently
- Stooping, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching at, below, or above the shoulder
- Walking and standing on concrete floors for up to 12 or more hours per day
- Maintaining performance in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standards
- Tolerating temperatures ranging from (-) 20 degrees in the freezer to 115 degrees in the truck van
