Job Summary
Oversee efficient freight flow by planning, unloading, checking in, and merchandising distribution shipments while verifying vendor arrivals. Manage back stock, dispose of damaged goods, and maintain a safe, orderly dock and exterior. Direct other associates on freight processes and act as Manager on Duty for store openings, closings, and assigned tasks. Requires high school diploma, six months of retail experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Schedule includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
