Job Summary
Oversee efficient freight flow by planning, unloading, and verifying direct vendor shipments while maintaining accurate back stock and managing damaged goods disposition. Direct team members during distribution processes, prepare outbound transfers, and set up merchandise displays to meet visual merchandising standards. Act as Manager on Duty, handling store opening and closing duties as assigned. Maintain a safe, orderly dock and exterior through equipment upkeep. Requires 6 months of retail experience and ability to lift 50 pounds. Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines
- Positive attitude
- Ability to interact well with customers and associates
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
