Job Summary
Receiving Team Leader oversees the receiving area operations, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely freight flow to the sales floor per the receiving area plan; maintains back stock and manages disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss; responsibilities include planning, unloading, checking in, and merchandising distribution shipments, receiving and merchandising direct vendor shipments, managing freight flow and equipment, ensuring accuracy of incoming merchandise, setting up merchandise displays, processing outbound transfers, directing other associates, and acting as Manager on Duty including store opening/closing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
