Job Summary
Receiving Team Leader oversees the efficient operation of the receiving area, ensuring accurate, timely freight flow to the sales floor, maintaining back stock, and managing disposition of damaged goods. Responsibilities include planning, unloading, checking in and merchandising distribution shipments, receiving vendor shipments, ensuring accurate merchandise flow, setting up and designing displays, processing outbound transfers, directing associates assisting with freight flow, acting as Manager on Duty, and opening/closing the store as assigned. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of experience with a mid- to large-size retailer, and schedule flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds; strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude for customer and associate interactions. Required Qualifications
