Job Summary
Oversee daily receiving dock operations, including supervision of raw material intake, placement, and window management. Collect and verify activity sheets from forklift operators, ensuring paperwork is complete before scanning for recordkeeping. Perform daily cycle counts, analyze variances, and update spreadsheets as assigned by the Warehouse Shipping Manager. Monitor production schedules, packing slips, and Bills of Lading to identify shortages and coordinate with the Warehouse Receiving Manager. Input raw materials into LX and SAP, manage sample collections for incoming inspection, and conduct visual and physical reviews of staged materials. Work a 10+ hour shift from 4pm to 2am, adhering to all food safety practices and physical demands involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of working a 10+ hour day
- Must have previous shipping/receiving experience
- Able to stand for long periods of time while monitoring the warehouse
- Frequently use hand(s) for repetitive movement single grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation
- Able to frequently bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach
- Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
- Must understand and adhere to all methods and practices used to provide basic environmental operating conditions essential for the processing of safe food
