Receiving Supervisor Perishables

Receiving Supervisor for Perishables overseeing a team responsible for unloading, put-away, and receiving of perishable goods in a BJ’s Wholesale Club distribution environment. Responsibilities include supervising, training and mentoring team members; ensuring accurate temperature controls and documentation in the warehouse management system from dock arrival to put away; ensuring safe truck unloading; tagging and recording pallets; maintaining proper product location and protection; contributing to safety metrics by enforcing sanitation, GMP, COOL (Country of Origin Labeling), and HACCP procedures; completing required paperwork and checklists; managing time and attendance, PTO requests, and staffing through HR processes; monitoring inventory and shrink, and reviewing utilization and performance reports. Requires leadership in a fast-paced distribution setting with strong emphasis on food safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
