Job Summary
Overnight Receiving Supervisor responsible for directing daily warehouse operations for store distribution, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and managing the daily freight schedule aligned with customer and inventory needs. Directs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping/receiving, inventory control, and storage buy-related tasks; ensures safety and OSHA compliance; maintains equipment and preventive maintenance communications; enforces standard operating procedures; handles progressive disciplinary processes and training; collaborates with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations; produces activity reports and resolves discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiver reports; supports floor and decor’s mission and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- warehouse or distribution center experience
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to lead and delegate
- basic math
- strong computer skills (Windows)
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- availability for extended hours during peak seasons
