Job Summary
Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory using ERP reports to support production requirements while coordinating replenishment with Corporate Purchasing. Oversee all warehouse, shipping, receiving, storage, and material replenishment operations to ensure timely movement of materials, inventory control, and product loss prevention. Maintain inventory integrity through cycle count programs, reporting, and scrap processing to achieve cycle count certification. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and optimize replenishment methods. Supervise and develop receiving personnel by assigning work, monitoring performance, and fostering a safe, compliant team adhering to GMPs, OSHA, and SQF standards. Collaborate with plant leadership to maximize warehouse efficiency and execute daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, cycle counting, material replenishment, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, motivate, and develop employees while effectively assigning and monitoring daily work activities
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), SQF, and food safety regulations, with the commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and quality-focused work environment
