Job Summary
Unload and load trucks and shipping containers, operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes, and use the SAP system for inventory, shipping, and receiving. Verify compliance of parts received using shop measuring tools and documentation while communicating with departments to ensure correct goods are received and shipped. Work continuously standing and moving in a fast-paced environment with interruptions, bending, twisting, and lifting to meet production needs according to ISO 9002 procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions
- Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours
- Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company's expectations
- Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs
- Operate material handling equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, cranes and hoists
- Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP system
- Verify compliance of parts received by using shop measuring tools and available documentation
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with all departments to verify correct goods received and correct items are shipped
- ISO 9002 procedures
