Receiving Stall Supervisor

Job Summary
Coordinate the cleaning, organization, and light maintenance of the Receiving Barn, including daily stripping, bedding, and weekly drain flushing. Keep laborers updated on scheduling changes for training, hair testing, and racing, and organize their shifts to ensure all work is completed. Maintain clear aisles and parking areas, manage work equipment inventory, and assist in placing ship-in horses per approved paperwork. Record daily stall details and report issues to the Stall Superintendent or Security. Requires an Indiana Horse Racing Commission license, basic computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Indiana Horse Racing Commission license
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must possess strong communication skills

- basic computer knowledge

- ability to meet goals and deadlines
- knowledge of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing terms
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to work in a highly populated, fast-paced, and noisy environment
- May be required to lift approximately fifty [50] pounds
