Receiving Specialist (Supercomputer Operations)

Job Summary

Receive all materials/packages, transact receipts in the ERP/WMS system, and verify conformity with paperwork while checking for damage, correct part numbers, and specifications. Create routing labels, file incoming documentation, and document non-conformance occurrences per prescribed procedures. Interface with carriers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and coordinate return shipments and reverse logistics. Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety procedures while maintaining good housekeeping in receiving and staging areas. Support material flow to construction and operations teams through kitting and staging. Work one of two 12.5-hour rotating shifts (4/3 or 3/4 on/off) in a fast-paced data center environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)
  • Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operations
  • Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shift
  • Comfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures, noise, and dust

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a receiving role
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environment
  • Experience with ERP systems and scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.)
  • Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipment
  • Experience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processes
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
